Phillip Island is one of the world’s best permanent race tracks and is a place that requires huge commitment from the drivers especially through turn 1 where the cars are travelling at 280kmh and the long sweeping final turn through corners 11 to 12 where the cars change into 5th gear and push past 200kmh on the exit.
Hard Charging 4th Place Finish for Moffat at Phillip Island
Wilson Security Racing GRM driver James Moffat has had his best race of the season, finishing fourth in the sixth race of the 2017 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit over the weekend.

Hi All, Well were back into the swing of things for season 2017, after a very busy off season for Garry Rogers Motorsport to build 4 brand new cars, we were looking forward to hitting the track in Adelaide after a successful first test at winton.
Off we go again! What an off season we had at GRM. Following Volvo’s decision to exit Supercars following the 2016 season and my inability to secure an arrangement for the supply of Volvo engines we had to make a very late decision in December to build two brand new Commodores so as we could be on the grid for the 2017 Supercar season.
